A Convincing Response to Steph Der's "good lesson"...

Stephanie Der, Cambridge School, had my son in her 1st and 2nd grade class. I asked Caleb if he remembered the lesson that Steph described. He is going into 5th grade, and didn't miss a beat when describing what he "discovered" during this lesson. He got the general concept... a base for the future!

Briefly (a few paragraphs) tell the story of a time when you were teaching that everything fell into place for a particular lesson. What were you teaching and what strategies for instruction were you using at the time. Why was this lesson so effective?
